Thanks to radar technology, the Senvolon presence sensor with Wi-Fi provides true presence detection up to 6 m. Unlike normal motion detectors, it not only detects movement but also when you are sitting or lying still. Up to three zones can be set up to precisely locate people in the room. An integrated siren can be easily controlled for monitoring scenarios. The sensor can be seamlessly integrated into smart home systems like Home Assistant, ioBroker, Node-RED, and OpenHAB via MQTT. The Senvolon Wi-Fi presence and motion sensor is set up in a few steps via a web app, can be flexibly mounted on the ceiling or wall, and only requires sufficient Wi-Fi coverage for initial setup.

The Senvolon presence sensor uses RADAR technology (24 GHz to 60 GHz), which sets it apart from conventional infrared sensors. PIR sensors only register motion (e.g. walking), while our RADAR sensor also detects motionless presence (e.g. a person reading or sleeping). It registers the smallest movements, such as breathing, ensuring that automated processes (like lighting or heating) stay active as long as a person is in the room.

The presence sensor KL MZ detects up to three people. The other variants are primarily optimized for monitoring a single room. These provide data on the most recently detected person.
