Great idea to connect the 24 GHz sensor to an ESP32 and offer it with a web interface. Then add a housing, which can also be removed if necessary: This is exactly what I was looking for. I didn't want a Tuya/ZigBee/BLE device. I wanted it on Wi-Fi and to have enough configuration options accessible. A great idea! (Without CC2.tv, I would have completely overlooked this device.) Hopefully, Senvolon will be successful with devices of this type. I want to buy more of them soon. If a black housing is ever printed, please let me know. Because I also want to install a sensor under the carport. But there, the white housing is too conspicuous for me. Indoors, the white housing is usually better, of course. Even if there should ever be a 24 GHz multi-sensor that can "track" several objects, I'd gladly buy it again. (...unfortunately, I built an ESP32 with a TF-Mini Plus sensor myself a year ago. It now reliably checks in my old house whether the sewage system is clogged or not - otherwise I would have bought that one too.) But back to this sensor: It does, as expected, what it's supposed to. Great that such a long connecting cable was included right away. I'm happy to spend money on products like these: It's so professional that I'd rather buy it than spend a lot of time (usually somewhat worse) building and programming it myself. I installed the level sensor in my concrete cistern, which is why I used the version with an external antenna connection. I converted the power cable to a slim IP68 plug, as Schuko never really gets watertight and is bulky. The device is protectively insulated anyway, so earthing is not necessary. The external antenna cable and power cable were run through the conduit, which already carries the suction hose and float switch, into the cellar, where Wi-Fi is also available. There, I connected the indoor antenna recommended by Senvolon to the antenna cable. Everything works wonderfully! It's also simple to set up, completely without a cloud, via its own small HTML interface! MQTT is also very easy, and there are great instructions for it. I integrated the level sensor into ioBroker this way. And now all values can be used in the smart home. If the device continues to function permanently, I can only praise it.

The detector lives up to its name; it works precisely and can be configured excellently on the transparent web interface, even with a normal IQ. The fact that it is a German product and you immediately get an answer to every question in your native language is remarkable. If you compare this with Chinese products, you see that buying is super easy, but woe betide you if you ask for details or want to discuss technical problems. Here at SENVOLON, "you will definitely be helped"!

There would have been many ways to measure the water level of my cistern. I chose this one and it was exactly right. The perfect support also promptly solved problems caused by the on-site situation. Immediately available, incredibly friendly, and even more competent. Awesome. So, a clear recommendation to buy!
