How to retrieve presence values via app

You can retrieve the current readings of your presence detector at any time via an app on your smartphone – on both iOS and Android. You can also actively receive notifications as soon as presence is detected or when presence disappears again.

For this to work, you must first activate remote access.

1. Activate remote access

1. Open the Remote Access option in the sensor menu "Connections"
2. Set a password
3. Note down the automatically generated Remote ID

Remote access is a cloud service that provides you with secure access to your sensor data.

You can reach it at:

There, you enter your Remote ID and your password and immediately gain access to the presence detector's readings. Remote access also supports push notifications. You will therefore be actively informed when:

• Presence has been detected
• No presence is detected

This works on both smartphones and in the browser on your laptop or PC.

2. Install web app on iOS

For push notifications to work on iOS, you need to install the web app:

1. Open remote.senvolon.de in Safari
2. Log in with your sensor ID and password
3. Tap the Share icon – a square with an arrow pointing upwards
4. Scroll down in the menu and select Add to Home Screen
5. Tap Add

Now you have direct app access to your presence readings and can activate push notifications.

3. Install web app on Android

On Android, you can also easily install the web app:

1. Open remote.senvolon.de in Chrome
2. Log in
3. Tap the three dots in the top right corner
4. Select Add to Home screen
5. Confirm with Add

After that, you will have an app icon on your home screen and can activate push notifications for presence messages.
