Monitoring the Fill Level and Remote Access via App

The current fill level, along with all other readings, can also be checked via the app (iOS and Android). You can also be actively notified when the configured minimum or maximum fill level is exceeded or undercut. To retrieve data via the app, you need a stable Wi-Fi connection at the installation site. This article shows you how to ensure reception even in the shaft. Our topic page on measuring and monitoring rainwater tank levels shows which sensor technology suits your rainwater tank and how installation works.

Activating Remote Access

The basis for this is activating remote access. It is first selected under Connections and activated after you set a password. Please note down the assigned sensor ID, which always starts with "ls" (level sensor).

Remote access is a cloud service that provides secure access to the level sensor's readings. You log in via your web browser at the address https://remote.senvolon.de. Enter your ID and password there to access the level sensor's readings.

Remote access also supports push notifications. These actively notify you when your sensor's MIN or MAX value is exceeded or undercut. This also works with your browser on a laptop or PC.

On a smartphone, we recommend installing it as a web app. On iOS in particular, notifications are only possible when using the web app.

Setting Up the Web App on iOS

Sign in at remote.senvolon.de. Once the page with the readings appears, tap the share icon. It looks like a square with an arrow pointing upward and is located at the bottom of the screen (on iPhone) or in the top right corner (on iPad).

Then scroll down in the share menu and select Add to Home Screen. Then tap Add in the top right corner, and you get direct access to the sensor data in the form of an app. You can now also enable push notifications in case of an alarm.

Setting Up the Web App on Android

Sign in at remote.senvolon.de. Once the page with the readings appears, tap the menu icon (three vertical dots) in the top right corner of the screen. Then scroll down in the menu and select Add to Home screen.

Then tap Add, and you get direct access to the sensor data in the form of an app. You can also enable push notifications in case of an alarm.
