The Senvolon Presence Sensor KL LD is the variant for larger rooms and open-plan layouts.
With an extended range of up to 9 meters and a wide detection angle of 150°, it covers significantly more floor space than the other versions – while maintaining the same precise 24 GHz radar technology for reliable motion and presence detection.
Additionally, the sensor integrates measurement of temperature, humidity, and air pressure. This provides you with a comprehensive picture of the room's condition, in addition to pure presence detection – all in one device.
An integrated siren can be specifically triggered upon detected presence, for example for acoustic signaling or simple monitoring scenarios.
The Smart Home integration is open via MQTT (e.g., Home Assistant, ioBroker). Operation is fully local – without mandatory cloud connection. Optionally, push notifications can be used via the German Senvolon Cloud.
The KL LD presence sensor is conveniently set up via a web app, can be flexibly mounted on the ceiling or wall, and only requires sufficient Wi-Fi coverage. Includes 3 years warranty and free updates.

The Senvolon presence detector monitors rooms reliably, precisely and discreetly. Thanks to modern mmWave radar technology, the sensor detects not only movement, but also stationary presence – i.e. minimal movements such as breathing or small body movements. This fundamentally distinguishes it from conventional PIR motion detectors and makes it ideal for smartly controlled interiors.

The Senvolon presence detector uses RADAR technology (24 GHz to 60 GHz), which distinguishes it from conventional infrared sensors. PIR sensors only register movement (e.g., walking), whereas our RADAR sensor also detects motionless presence (e.g., a person reading or sleeping). It registers the smallest movements, such as breathing, ensuring that automated processes (like lighting or heating) remain active as long as a person is in the room.

The presence detector KL MZ detects up to three people. The other variants are primarily optimized for monitoring a single room. These provide data on the last person detected.
