The Senvolon Level Sensor RD with external antenna connection uses 80 GHz RADAR technology for millimeter-accurate, non-contact monitoring of liquids up to 40 m. It ensures reliable detection even in fog or condensation. Thanks to the integrated RP-SMA connector, Wi-Fi reception can be flexibly optimized: the customer decides whether to connect their own 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi antenna or use Senvolon's optional external antenna. This freedom of choice makes the system particularly adaptable – ideal for shafts, cisterns, or locations with limited reception. The level sensor has integrated MIN/MAX monitoring and is designed according to protection class IP65, meaning it is dust-tight and protected against jet water.

Flexible Installation

The RD level sensor with external antenna connection can be mounted on or in the tank opening; an unobstructed view of the surface is required. Sufficient Wi-Fi coverage is necessary for commissioning. For this purpose, a compatible external Wi-Fi antenna (not included) is connected to the RD level sensor with an external antenna connection – ideal for ensuring stable Wi-Fi connections even in difficult reception conditions.
